"In wave mechanics, we speaks of interference when two waves of same type meet and interact with each other".
It is in a way, the story of Nicolas TAROE and Stéphane OPÉRA. Both French artists meet 2 years ago and decide to work together in their creative studio named ANYWAY. After several professional orders and joint artistic projects, they propose now a first exhibition by confronting their 2 creative universe in front of a wider audience.
TAROE, whose aestheticism and work result from a realistic and sharp painting, seems want to make us travel and consider the city and its codes differently. he depicts street furniture and public transportation and focuses on us transport to the heart of the bowels of the city with a faithful representation of his environment. The doors, the central figures of his work, tell us about the passage and dam, opening and closing. Beyond or below. They are the place of passage between several universes: the concrete and the abstract, the known and the unknown, between darkness and light.
OPERA, on the other hand, offers us a futuristic and abstract vision of the modern world through random compositions of geometric shapes. Paying tribute to cubist masters and futurists, he combines complex lines and colorful shapes in a chaotic and fragmented construction game. A follower of vintage and old paper, he combines fragments of the past with his painting by inserting typographic characters or portraits of foreigners coming to tell an additional story in his abstract compositions. Each canvas seems to be a vestige of a distant future.

C’est en quelque sorte l’histoire de Nicolas TAROE et de Stéphane OPÉRA. Les deux artistes français se rencontrent il y a 2 ans et décident de travailler ensemble au sein de leur studio créatif nommé ANYWAY. Après plusieurs commandes professionnelles et des projets artistiques communs, ils proposent désormais une premiere exposition en confrontant leur 2 univers créatif devant un plus large public.
TAROE, dont l’esthétisme et le travail résultent d’une peinture réaliste et pointue, semble vouloir nous faire voyager et envisager la ville et ses codes autrement. Il dépeint mobilier urbain et transports en commun et se concentre à nous transporter au cœur des entrailles de la ville avec une représentation fidèle de son environnement. Les portes, figures centrales de son travail, nous parlent de passage et de barrage, d’ouverture et de fermeture. D’au-delà ou d’en deçà. Elles sont le lieu de passage entre plusieurs univers : le concret et l’abstrait, le connu et l’inconnu, entre les ténèbres et la lumière.
OPÉRA, quant à lui, nous offre une vision futuriste et abstraite du monde moderne à travers des compositions aléatoires de formes géométriques. Rendant hommage aux maitres cubistes et au futuristes, il combine lignes complexes et formes tès colorés dans un jeu de construction chaotique et fragmenté. Adepte du vintage et des vieux papiers, il fait cohabiter des fragments du passé avec sa peinture en y insérant caractères typographiques ou portraits d’etrangers venant raconter une histoire supplémentaire dans ses compositions abstraites. Chaque toile semble être un vestige d’un futur lointain
