Dans le cadre du grand réaménagement du Square Surcouf à Grigny, La Compagnie Constellation a commissionné Opéra & Taroe afin de réaliser sur le sol de cet espace public une signalétique artistique étroitement liée à la problématique du traitement des emballages et déchets ménagers.
L’œuvre commandée fut réalisée suite à l’installation de nouvelles borne semi-enterrées qui viennent bousculer les habitudes des habitants en matière de gestion de leurs déchets. Participant à l’amélioration du cadre de vie, cette œuvre a pour objet non seulement de magnifier le quartier et sa rénovation urbaine mais aussi de faciliter l’appropriation des nouveaux usages de tri sélectif auxquels sont confrontés les habitants.
Il s’agit donc d’une création plastique spécifique pour le quartier alliant signalétique et marquages au sol.
Un système graphique mêlant l’esthétique, le ludique et l’ergonomique pour guider les habitants dans leurs cheminements quotidiens pour le dépôt des ordures ménagères. Ce travail insuffle une meilleure implication coresponsable autant dans le tri des déchets que dans le respect de leur cadre de vie. L’objectif étant d’utiliser l’Art et la Culture comme moyens d’améliorer l’environnement et son respect par les habitants avec l’appropriation par ces derniers de leur cadre de vie.

As part of the major redevelopment of Square Surcouf in Grigny, La Compagnie Constellation commissioned Opéra & Taroe to create artistic signage on the floor of this public space, closely linked to the issue of household waste treatment.
The commissioned work was carried out following the installation of new semi-buried bollards which will shake up the habits of residents in terms of waste management. Participating in the improvement of the living environment, this work aims not only to magnify the district and its urban renewal but also to facilitate the appropriation of the new uses of selective sorting with which residents are confronted.
It is therefore a specific plastic creation for the district combining signage and markings on the ground.
